WASHINGTON — National Right to Life praised Oklahomans for Life for its work in seeing SB 612 passed and signed into law.

Oklahoma’s SB 612 was signed by Governor Kevin Stitt today.

“One of the people present at the bill signing who has been responsible for helping lay the groundwork for today’s pro-life milestone is Tony Lauinger, longtime advocate for the unborn child as state chairman of Oklahomans for Life, state affiliate of National Right to Life,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life.

“We praise Oklahomans for Life and Tony Lauinger for their hard work in seeing this law passed,” said Tobias. “No unborn child should die a horrible death in an abortion. This bill will go far in protecting unborn children and their mothers from abortion.”

Founded in 1968, the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC), the federation of affiliates in each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia and more than 3,000 local chapters, is the nation’s oldest and largest grassroots pro-life organization.
