Pro-Life Perspective: “A Firsthand Account of Forced Abortion in China”

It is only to state the obvious to say that it is very tough sledding to read accounts—all too commonplace—about forced abortion and involuntary sterilization in China. But that grim, but necessary, topic is the subject matter of Tuesday’s Pro-Life Perspective, hosted by National Right to Life President Carol Tobias.

We’ve written about these horrific, draconian abridgements of basic human rights on many, many occasions at National Right to Life News Today, including yesterday (www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/11/%E2%80%9Ccomedy%E2%80%9D-to-be-filmed-in-town-where-chinese-human-rights-advocate-beaten-and-extra-legally-detained) and last week (www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/11/china%E2%80%99s-one-child-per-couple-population-control-policy-with-its-reliance-on-forced-abortion-called-%E2%80%9Cweapon-of-mass-destruction%E2%80%9D-against-women-and-children).

But listening to Mrs. Tobias talk about “Wujian” packs an additional emotional punch. What happened to her in 2004 almost defies description.
