The conversations all week on Pro-Life Perspective are examining the right-to-life movement’s goals in 2012 and National Right to Life’s focus on educating American about the capacity of unborn children to feel pain. NRLC President and PLP Host Carol Tobias begins today’s broadcasting by reminding her audience that 2012 provides us with some very unique and exciting challenges and opportunities as the nation learns more and more about  the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

“In addition to the practical and life-saving application of the law, perhaps the most dramatic difference it’s made has been the education that it’s provided and the headlines it’s garnered,” she says. “All across the country, newspapers, talk shows, and likely even your friends and social networks were talking about unborn children, and the pain caused by abortion. The conversation turned to the baby, and more and more people were touched by the reality of abortion.”

All this week Mrs. Tobias has been highlighting the resources the NRLC State Organizational Development Department is assembling to help you educate your community. Those include a petition (which will soon be downloadable); a thoroughly researched and cited brochure about fetal pain that you can keep on hand for personal use and all chapter activities; and National Right to Life’s iconic “STOP” signs, altered  to reflect the theme of unborn pain.

“As marches take place all across the country in a few weeks, remembering the 39th anniversary of Roe v Wade, now is the time to order these signs for your local gathering,” Mrs. Tobias says. “You can also order a roll of stickers proclaiming that “Abortion Hurts!” bringing home once again the truth that unborn children can experience pain just as we can.“

There is much more to listen to at If you’ve missed any episodes this week, you can listen to them there.
