Two more National Right to Life state affiliates have endorsed pro-life former Governor Mitt Romney for president.

The Right to Life of Michigan Political Action Committee and The New York State Right to Life Political Action Committee join Florida Right to Life Political Action Committee, Massachusetts Citizens for Life Political Action Committee, Missouri Right to Life Federal Political Action Committee, Nevada Right to Life PAC, Ohio Right to Life Society Political Action Committee, the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation PAC, Rhode Island State Right to Life Committee, West Virginians for Life Political Action Committee and Wisconsin Right to Life Political Action Committee which have already endorsed Romney for president.

National Right to Life PAC endorsed Mr. Romney for president at a press conference held at the National Press Club.

”]“On pro-life issues, Mitt Romney and Barack Obama provide a stark contrast,” said NRLC President Carol Tobias. “As the country’s most pro-abortion president, Barack Obama has pursued a radical pro-abortion agenda.  It is now time for pro-life Americans to unite behind Mitt Romney.  For the sake of unborn children, the disabled, and the elderly, we must win.

In its announcement, the Right to Life of Michigan Political Action Committee (RLM-PAC) said,

The Right to Life of Michigan Political Action Committee endorsed Mitt Romney for President of the United States. Mitt Romney has pledged to support the Hyde Amendment, which prevents certain federal funds from going to pay for abortions, supports the reversal of Roe v. Wade, favors efforts to prohibit abortion providers like Planned Parenthood from receiving federal funding and has promised to appoint judges who follow the Constitution.”

RLM-PAC Chairman Paul Miller said, “While the primary season can often be divisive, it is time for prolife people to come together and unite behind Mitt Romney to ensure President Barack Obama doesn’t spend another four years in the White House. We need a prolife president who is willing to respect and defend the sanctity of human life.”

In its announcement, the New York State Right to Life Political Action Committee said

“The New York State Right to Life Political Action Committee (NYS Right to Life PAC) is proud to join the National Right to Life Political Action Committee in endorsing Mitt Romney for President of the United States.

“NYS Right to Life PAC notes with gratitude the positions of all the Republican candidates who have spoken out for protection of the unborn, disabled, and elderly during the debates and as they sought support from the American people.

“President Obama has made promotion of abortion a cornerstone of his presidency and of his health care bill which also promotes health care rationing. And now he is even challenging the religious liberties of religious organizations who oppose abortion and sterilization.

“Mitt Romney will change these policies. Mitt Romney has said that he will work to repeal ‘Obamacare,’ the President’s health care bill, which passed the Senate and House of Representatives by a few votes, some of which were acquired by back door deals and promises of future perks. Mitt Romney has also said that he will reinstate the Mexico City policy, which keeps federal money from being used for organizations that perform or promote abortion overseas.
