Planned Parenthood Media Director New HHS Deputy Secretary for Public Affairs

Apparently the Obama Administration has decided “why bother with the middle man?” Health and Human Services—already under fire for a mandate requiring religious institutions and individuals of conscience to pay for health insurance plans that cover medical procedures and drugs contrary to their religious beliefs and consciences—now has a new deputy assistant secretary for public affairs. Guess who? Tait Sye, Planned Parenthood’s media director for the last four and a half years.

“As Planned Parenthood’s spokesman, Sye was involved in the organization’s defense of HHS’s rule requiring that contraception be covered by most employers’ insurance policies.” POLITICO reports. “He will have responsibility for communications involving the Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”

Not that anyone ought to be surprised. Obama has stocked his bureaucracy with numerous pro-abortion birds of a feather.

Who are the leading pro-abortion organizations? Planned Parenthood, EMILY’s List, and NARAL. All have representatives in prominent positions in the administration
