Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Archbishop of New York

Okay, voting ends Friday at TIME magazine for people interested in having their choice be on TIME’s list of the 100 most influential “leaders, artists, innovators, icons and heroes.” . To be clear, TIME will choose the other 99.

To be honest I don’t recognize many of the names. But two that did jump out are Cecile Richards, PPFA’s head honcho, and Timothy Cardinal Dolan, the pro-life leader of the Archdiocese of New York City and president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Readers are given the option of checking one of two boxes for candidates: Should the candidate “definitely” be on, or “no way” they should be on.

Cecile Richards

As of 5:00 EST, 32% said Richards should “definitely” be on the 100 list while 68% said “no way.” Dolan’s numbers were close to mirror opposite: 62% said he should “definitely” be on, versus 38% who said “no way.”
