What’s airing on Pro-Life Perspective Today? “Right to Life Heroes: The Eichenseers”

National Right to Life President and Pro-Life Perspective Host Carol Tobias concludes this week’s PLP with the first in a series of broadcasts honoring volunteers, right described as “Right to Life Heroes.” As Mrs. Tobias observes,

“I know of no other cause in which so many people will give so much of themselves to help others they will never meet. These right to life heroes to give so freely of their time and talents help make this the strongest and most successful social movement of our time.”

National Right to Life wouldn’t thrive and be the most effective single-issue pro-life organization in the world were it not for its 50 state affiliates, and more than 3,000 chapters. They, in turn, continue to thrive and make great advancements because of the enormous contributions of grassroots pro-life volunteers.

Mrs. Tobias begins her series with Betty and John Eichenseer of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Someone once said, “Some people want it to happen, some wish it to happen, others make it happen.” The Eichenseers are the kind of people who “make it happen.”

It would be unfair to merely summarize what Betty and John have done on behalf of the Right to Life Committee of New Mexico. So please listen to today’s broadcast—and any you might have missed this week—at www.prolifeperspective.com.

There you will hear how the Eichenseers were first drawn to our Movement and how each uses his/her particular gifts on behalf of the most vulnerable among us—the unborn child and the medically dependent elderly.

Suffice it to say that they have been involved with every pro-life activity from A to Z. And the creative fundraising idea they had—partnering with a local sports team—is a great example of the many new ways NRLC affiliates and local chapters are raising money to do pro-life education.

Have a great weekend. Come back Monday when Mrs. Tobias continues her series on pro-life heroes. That URL again is www.prolifeperspective.com.
