This last, brief post for this very, very busy week is a reflection on a powerful column written by Sarah Terzo which we are privileged to reprint. Please read “Witnesses to abortion reveal its horrors.”
I grant you the examples Ms. Terzo assembled have been gathered over a long period of time. But that does not in any way change a devastating truth. While infrequent, there have been cases where either those who participate in the abortion—or observers who watched—summarized what takes place without sugarcoating any of the soul-sapping details.
My assumption has always been that almost everyone who traffics in the deaths of unborn babies is themselves emotionally and psychologically maimed. Regardless of your position on abortion, it has make sense to me that if you tear unborn life apart, piece by piece, a small part of your soul will be extinguished each and every time.
You can hide that from yourself, that’s true. But that doesn’t lessen the price you’ll pay late at night when it’s all quiet and it’s just you and your conscience.
But a different question is how would observing abortions, especially over time, affect a reporter or someone writing a book? I will not detract from the impact of reading those responses by paraphrasing them here. Suffice it to say, the quotes are stunning.
Be sure to read “Witnesses to abortion reveal its horrors” by Sarah Terzo.
