Let Them be Little, Indeed

Let-Them-Be-LittlereIt’s the nature of the Internet beast. I was just about to poke fun at a ridiculous column by an idiotic pro-abortionist when by chance I went to You Tube looking for a related item to buttress my case.

There I ran across a song titled, “Let Them be Little.” It is not a pro-life song per se, it’s just the advice of a dad to, well, let your kids be little. But listening to the first lines

“I can remember when you fit in the palm of my hand.

You felt so good in it; no bigger than a minute”

brought back waves of memories of my own four children when they were newborns.

But, strangely, this particular song I found filed under “Fetal Development.” In the upper right hand corner, under that category, I saw “22,400 results.”

22,400 videos/songs/animated graphics illustrated that most miraculous process: how you and I started out the same and ended up each unique.

I made a promise to myself that I am going to check out a representative sample in the weeks and months to come.

If you have particularly clever or moving or emotionally gripping examples that express the marvelous complexity of the unborn child’s developmental journey, please send me a link.

As time permits, I will talk about the best that I find and you send me. Please send your favorites to
