The line to draw is BEFORE babies are harmed.

by | Jun 19, 2015

unbornbaby2Last month, I pointed out that a pro-abortion campaign called “Bust the Ban,” aimed at defeating National Right to Life’s initiatives to ban painful late abortions and dismemberment abortions, could more accurately be labeled “Bust the Child,” or “Bust the Baby.”

Because that’s exactly who their campaign is taking aim at, right?

Well, an interesting development: after we busted the “Bust the Ban” campaign and exposed it for what it is, the pro-abortion group that was behind it seemed to drop the theme.

The group’s new theme, instead of “Bust the Ban,” is now “Draw the Line,” presumably a call to draw the line against the growing number of pro-life laws we are passing.

Well, let me help them a bit with their new theme. If they want to be completely honest about what an abortion does to an unborn baby, instead of “Draw the Line,” they might consider:

Draw the knife.

Draw the last breath.

Draw the last ounce of life.

Of course, they don’t want to be completely honest, not even remotely so. They can’t honestly explain what happens in an abortion or they would lose, so they hide behind vague themes, or phrases, or outright deceptions.

But we see through them.

When National Right to Life asked for help so we could expose the truth about partial-birth abortion, pro-lifers responded magnificently, generously donating enough that we could conduct a nationwide campaign to inform and activate Americans and ultimately ban the procedure.

Now we need your help again. Our campaign today aims to ban painful late abortions and barbaric dismemberment abortions. We’ve already succeeded in passing bans on late abortions in 11 states with our Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, and in two states with our new Unborn Child Protection from Dismemberment Abortion Act.

But that is just the beginning. Please help us share the truth with Americans in every state with a generous contribution to National Right to Life today. It doesn’t have to be a lot — every bit helps us bring the truth to more Americans.

And helps hasten the day when every child will be safe from abortion.
