The best day of the month–NRL News goes online!

July-Aug2015FrontcoverThis is always my favorite day of the month, the day the latest digital edition of National Right to Life News goes online. You can read the entire 45-page issue at www.nrlc.org/uploads/NRLNews/NRLNewsJuly-Aug2015.pdf.

As you might have anticipated, the August edition could be dubbed the Center for Medical Progress/PPFA videos issue.

It wasn’t until after we published online that I actually counted the stories that deal with the immense fallout from the six undercover CMP videos which showed the public exactly what kind of people occupy high positions at the nation’s largest abortion provider.

There are 18 such stories–and two more that addressed how the PPFA assertion that “Three percent of all Planned Parenthood health services are abortion services” is being systematically debunked. And we could have published more.

But that still left room for 25 more stories and columns. And we took full advantage to bring you the latest on virtually every pro-life issue you could imagine. Let me mention just a couple of categories.

That included three wins over the pro-assisted suicide forces, a shocker for them, but further evidence this campaign is the handiwork of a small group of out-of-touch pro-death elitists.

On the life-affirming side of the ledger, we carry several encouraging stories about babies who beat incredible odds. And there is wonderful story–made even more special because it was so simple–of a teen who chose life when she found she was pregnant at 16.

And to remind us how fragile unborn life can be, there is a powerful story from Live Action News about a couple that posted an amusing, joyful You Tube video about her pregnancy only to lose the baby shortly afterward. How they handled that loss is a lesson in strength and faith in God.

Tomorrow I’ll bring you more about the latest issue of National Right to Life News [www.nrlc.org/uploads/NRLNews/NRLNewsJuly-Aug2015.pdf]. Please read NRLC President Carol Tobias’ column which we are reposting today.
