( – A doctor in Pensacola, Florida who bought out an abortion practitioner 16 years ago is now using the abortionist’s own instruments of death to deliver a pro-life message.

Dr. William Lile is a board certified physician in obstetrics and gynecology and the former OB/GYN department chair at Sacred Heart Hospital who has delivered over 3,000 babies. He is also the medical advisor for Priests for Life.

Lile goes around the country showing ultrasound videos of unborn babies in the womb to various groups and then uses the abortionists’ instruments to demonstrate exactly how first-, second- and third-trimester abortions are used to end their lives.

“He was the largest provider of abortion services for the tri-county area,” Lile told “We stopped all abortions on day one, all referrals on day one, and we had him sign a restrictive covenant where he could not practice any medicine in the tri-county area at all for the next 24 months, which pretty much pushed him into retirement and he moved back to Sweden.

“And we saw a dramatic decrease in the number of abortions in those three counties for the next several years until other providers came into the area.

“I have all the instruments that were used to literally perform thousands of abortions over the decades,” Lile continued. “We even bring the abortion machine, which is about the size of a dishwasher, and we’ll hook the abortion machine up to an empty steel paint thinner can. And as soon as you turn on the abortion machine, even though this is a steel can that I could stand on, instantly that steel can is crushed just like it was an aluminum soda can.” asked Lile, who works with groups such as Focus on the Family, Alliance Defending Freedom, National Right to Life and Heartbeat International, for his thoughts on the graphic videos released by the Center for Medical Progress(CMP) showing Planned Parenthood officials discussing the sale of aborted baby parts.

“When the videos first came out, anybody who has been involved in medicine knew exactly what was going on,” Lile replied. “And my reaction was, thank God we can now show exactly what horrors are really going on.

“I really thought that we’d have a huge outcry from the public and that we’d have big changes made through Congress. And yet what’s happening now is that CMP is being sued by Planned Parenthood for releasing the videos, which is analogous to the German Nazis suing over the release of pictures of the concentration camps.

“When there wasn’t a huge response, I realized that this is a spiritual battle. …

Lile’s 60-minute video, God’s Miracle of Life, shows how physicians use technology such as ultrasound and even cameras in the womb (fetoscopes) to diagnose and treat unborn babies as early as 18 weeks gestation.

“A lot of people just do not realize how well developed the baby is on the inside. So we’ll show them videos and ultrasounds of the baby’s heart beating 28 days after conception. We’ll go through some of the biomedical facts: as soon as that one egg and one sperm come together, that baby is different from any of the other 5 or 6 billion people on the planet.

“And that even nine weeks after conception, we can get a sample of the mom’s blood and we can actually isolate out tiny little fragments of the baby’s DNA and do diagnostic testing on it. Two hours after the baby is either aborted or born, that baby’s cell-free DNA is no longer detectable in the mother’s bloodstream because it gets eliminated,” he explained.

“When somebody says ‘It’s my body, I’ll do with it what I want,’ no. Your body is the life-support system, but there’s a whole different person there with different genetics. It’s unique,” said Lile, who is a member of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists (AAPLOG).

Lile is convinced that being able to see the images of babies in utero is changing the way the younger generation thinks about abortion.

“The group I have the most hope in as far as really changing hearts and minds here in the United States are the kids. They are visual learners. They’re always on YouTube, they’re always on their phones, they’re always on their tablets. They can see the heart beating 28 days after conception. They can see the fingers moving. They no longer believe that it’s just an inanimate blob of tissue.

“So my hope is in this upcoming generation. I really see the pendulum swinging,” he said.
