Trump up 47% to 40.4% in latest LA Times poll

Jul 27, 2016

By Dave Andrusko

Yesterday was a banner day for NRL News Today. We covered everything from A to Z, including two stories that have been proven to be even more spot on than we could have imagined.

We have a separate post today on pro-abortion Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, Hillary Clinton’s choice as her V.P. whom we discussed at length on Tuesday. Yesterday, CNN reported that Kaine had gulped down the last sip of Clinton’s entire abortion on demand/paid for by the public agenda.

The other story we will reference today from Tuesday dealt with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s surge following the GOP national convention. We discussed how more thorough analyses of his lead in major polls looked beyond the conventional wisdom that his rise was merely a “convention bump”

Today, in a real shocker, Trump leads Clinton 47% to 40.4% in the latest USC Dornsife/L.A. Times Presidential Election “Daybreak” Poll, which is taken daily. As recently as July 20, Clinton was ahead by one point.

What takes place at the Democratic National Convention on issues outside of our single-issue purview has relevance only to the extent that it increases/decreases the likelihood that a woman who is in every sense a militant zealot on abortion is elected. Suffice it to say, it will be fascinating to see the impact on the public of yesterday’s roster of speakers.

We have other posts about the convention and Clinton/Kaine.

They are the aforementioned cave by Kaine; evidence how far Clinton’s position on abortion is removed from the public’s; and the high-fives from pro-abortion sites to Planned Parenthood’s Cecile Richards for waving high the abortion flag last night.
