oct2016frontcoverWe had no sooner posted the latest digital edition of National Right to Life News this morning when people began dropping me notes that they were forwarding the October issue to their pro-life friends and contacts.

Thank you!

We will be posting one more edition of the “pro-life newspaper of record” before the November 8 elections, but we wanted to make available a ton of information about the presidential contest between pro-life Donald Trump and pro-abortion Hillary Clinton along with an update about key Senate races, with time to spare.

Naturally there are a ton of political stories. After all control of the House and Senate is at stake as well as of the Supreme Court. It would be difficult to exaggerate the stakes, which is why you should be reading the October issue from cover to cover [].

But there is much more as well that, as an educated, informed pro-lifer, you will want to access and share.

For example, Dr. Randall K. O’Bannon writes about “Planned Parenthood 2010-2016: Fewer centers, but more abortion clinics, and later abortions.” Parenthetically, PPFA’s political arms are spending tens of millions on the 2016 elections, which we talk about on page two.

Always among the best-received stories are accounts of parents who say NO to physicians counseling them to abort their babies whose conditions are supposedly “incompatible with life.” The Scotts story –“Advised repeatedly to abort, parents celebrate healthy baby’s first birthday”–is nothing less than hugely inspiring.

There are numerous posts about the recently celebrated 40th anniversary of the Hyde Amendment, credited with saving over 2 million lives. Thus we are not the least bit surprised that Hillary Clinton has made elimination of this provision which is attached to the annual appropriations bill that covers many federal health programs (including Medicaid) a high priority.

Likewise for the 100th anniversary of Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the world. which took place Sunday. (I wonder if PPFA rested from its death-dealing labors?)

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month. In addition to the many posts found at NRL News Today, we have two stories in the October issue reminding us of the blessings that children with Down syndrome can bring to a family.

We will offer other posts this week about our latest digital edition. For now, let me again thank you for forwarding the issue and encourage you to read the 40-page edition [] from page one to page last.

P.S. If this isn’t enough, you can also read about all the political news–and well as information about races for the U.S. House of Representatives–at
