If you watched pro-life President Donald Trump’s White House interview last night with ABC’s David Muir, you know that what you likely anticipated had come to pass. It was a tough grilling, the kind pro-abortion President Barack Obama never, ever received.
But that’s not what I am posting about. We’ve reposted a story from Newsbusters [“ABC’s Muir Left Speechless After Trump Brings Up March for Life”] which nicely addressed how Muir fumbled around when Mr. Trump called his bluff on last Saturday’s pro-abortion, anti-Trump “Women’s March.”
The President calmly turned the tables:
You’re going to have a lot of people coming on Friday. And I will say this, and I didn’t realize this. But I was told. You will have a very large crowd of people. I don’t know as large or larger. Some people said it will be larger. Pro-life people and they say the press doesn’t cover them.
When I read the official ABC News transcript this morning, I laughed out loud. This exchange was conspicuous by its absence. Hmmm. What a coincidence.
Also, equally amusing and revealing was “CNN Takes You to the Inauguration of Donald J. Trump.” I cannot figure out when this first popped up but it’s a mind-bogglingly beautiful photo of the newly-inaugurated President Trump as he is talking to his audience.
For your sake and mine a gigapixel is defined as “A unit of graphic resolution equivalent to 109 pixels, or 1 billion pixels.” The resolution on this shot is so astonishing, so vivid, you can literally read the brand name on the bottle of water set behind the podium.
I mention this not to get into a debate about the size of the crowd that attended the swearing in ceremonies. But if you move the cursor so that you can see all the way down the Mall, you know one thing.
Whenever the “comparison” shot that was taken of President Obama’s first augural and Trump’s January 20 inaugural, it simply did not do justice to the size of the crowd gathered last week.
It was absolutely massive.
