Last month we covered passage of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (SB5) and a bill that offers an abortion-minded woman the opportunity to see an ultrasound of her unborn child (HB2). The bills had passed both houses in less than a week from the time they were introduced and were signed into law January 9 by the governor of Kentucky.

Yesterday, over a thousand pro-lifers and pro-life Gov .Matt Bevin came together in the beautiful State Capitol Rotunda at a “Rally for Life ” to witness a ceremonial signing of SB5 and HB2.

The day got off to a perfect start when an audience member said, “Thank you, Governor!”

You can watch the ceremony on the governor’s Facebook page. As you can imagine the atmosphere was electric.

Congratulations to Kentucky Right to Life.
