As promised we are continuing to update the roster of confirmed speakers for “Keeping Life Alive, ” the annual three-day convention that will take place June 29-July 1 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Speaking at the Friday morning Prayer Breakfast is Ryan Bomberger. Mr. Bomberger is extremely well known in pro-life circles as an accomplished public speaker and author of Not Equal: Civil Rights Gone Wrong.

As an Emmy Award-winning creative professional who, along with his wife Bethany, founded The Radiance Foundation, Mr. Bomberger was the creative force behind the first ad campaign to expose abortion’s hugely disproportionate impact in the black community. He has told his own powerful story of being adopted at 6 weeks of age and growing up in a loving, multi-racial Christian family of 15 all over the country.

Wesley J. Smith, who will speak Saturday morning, is familiar to readers of NRL News and NRL News Today where his columns on pressing biomedical issues of the day are routinely reposted. In 2016 he updated his classic, Culture of Death which I reviewed in four separate posts. As he explains, the culture of death, whose vanguard is the bioethical establishment ensconced in think tanks, law schools, and as editors of elite medical journals, believes the ideas and philosophies that have undergirded the way we look at human beings (especially vulnerable human beings) are not only outmoded, but dangerously so.

Mr. Bomberger and Mr. Smith will be joining Ben Shapiro, Ann McElhinney, and many others at NRLC 2017. Ben Shapiro is a prolific author of several best-selling books, a columnist whose work appears in many newspapers and website, and a man who has appeared on literallyhundreds of radio and television shows around the nation. He will speak at the Thursday morning’s opening session.

Ann McElhinney is the producer of “Gosnell the movie” and co-author, along with her husband, of the New York Times Best Seller “Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer.”

She will be speaking at the Thursday evening General Session. She will also be available to introduce a sneak peak of the movie mentioned above on Friday evening, June 30 at 8:30 pm.

Gosnell is a story of a man who, for over 30 years, ran a medical clinic in an impoverished Philadelphia neighborhood. But behind the doors of his clinic, the smiling, avuncular Kermit Gosnell was also America’s most prolific serial killer.
