We held off publishing the July digital edition of National Right to Life News, the monthly issue of the “pro-life newspaper of record,” until this week in order to bring you the absolute latest on Charlie Gard. The front page story (along with several other stories and an editorial) brings you up to date.

The July edition also offers readers complete coverage of the three-day gathering June 29-July 1 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Many believe NRL 2017 was one of the best NRLC convention in recent memory, if not ever.

That will include the opening remarks of NRLC President Carol Tobias and reminiscences from the host affiliate, Wisconsin Right to Life, and from Jacki Ragan, who coordinates the annual educational bonanza.

That plus stories about the 66 workshops, five general sessions a Friday morning Prayer Breakfast, and a Saturday evening closing Banquet. And that doesn’t even count 14 teen workshops where the next generation of pro-life leaders sharpened their skills and deepened their commitment to unborn children and their mothers.

On pages 16 and 17, you’ll find a complete list of CDs and/or MP3s that you can order, either to refresh your memory or to help you feel as if you were there,

As is our custom, there are many human interest stories, updates on state legislative and legal affairs, and a look ahead to 2018 political races.

We’ll talk more about the July digital edition tomorrow and later this week.

Please begin reading the 37-page issue and passing stories along using your social media contacts.
