Pennsylvania high school student Chloe Kondrich demonstrates quite clearly how Down syndrome lives matter. In her short life, she has served as an ambassador for those with special needs, helping public officials recognize the gifts and talents that people with Down syndrome have to offer.

Chloe will be among those gathered at the state Capitol at 10 a.m. Tuesday for a news conference promoting legislation that recognizes the inherent value and dignity of children with an extra chromosome. The resolution, sponsored by state Senator Scott Martin (R-Lancaster), condemns the abortion of babies diagnosed with Down syndrome. Studies indicate the vast majority of preborn children who have been given a Down syndrome diagnosis are aborted, even though people with Down syndrome contribute greatly to our families and our communities.

If you are concerned about the abortion of Down syndrome children, please consider joining Chloe at the Capitol. She will greet you with a priceless smile that will make it well worth the trip!
