What a wonderful way to start the day. Early this morning, we posted the October digital edition of National Right to Life News. In 37 pages we cover the latest developments with an eye on inspiring and informing our growing audience of readers.

Please do yourself a favor and dig right in. The issue begins with a cover that reminds us that October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month.

Beginning on page one, we have extensive coverage of progress made on one of NRLC’s highest legislative priorities: the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. This vitally important measure passed the House and has been introduced in the Senate. Pro-life President Donald Trump has promised to sign the bill when it arrives on his desk.

Check the stories on page 1-2, 13, 19, 23, and 26-27. Yes, this bill is that important. We must stop aborting babies capable of being the horrific pain of being torn apart.

Education Director Dr. Randall K. O’Bannon provides an in-depth look at the “other 2/3rds.” We know that Planned Parenthood is the unborn baby’s #1 enemy, but upwards of two-thirds of all abortions, and especially late-term abortions, are performed elsewhere. See his story beginning on page 14.

There are many stories about state legislation, particularly as it relates to pro-abortion challenges in the courts. Beginning on page nine, Ingrid Duran, Director of NRLC’s Department of State Legislation, offers a comprehensive overview of the tremendous progress pro-lifers are making in the states. It is must reading.

And, of course, no edition of the “pro-life newspaper of record” would be complete without story after story of courageous parents who refused to listen to dour predictions about their unborn children.

I’ll return tomorrow with more about this terrific edition. Please, read it cover to cover and pass the stories along to your pro-life family and friends.
