A sincere thank you to all who donated to National Right to Life on #Giving Tuesday.

National Right to Life, the largest and longest established pro-life organization in America, would like to thank all of you who so generously contributed to the NRL Committee  and/or the NRL Educational Foundation on #Giving Tuesday.

Most donations came electronically but in some cases it was like old times. People dialed us up and contributed to the most effective single-issue pro-life charitable organization in the world on a day (and a Movement to quote NRLC’s Rai Rojas) that “celebrates and supports giving.”

A shout out goes as well to Los Angeles Chargers’ quarterback Kellen Clemens. Among many other players in the NFL, Clemens is participating in “My Cause My Cleats” which team reporter Hayley Elwood wrote “gives players the opportunity to lace up for causes important to them, and share what inspires them to make a difference in their communities.” This year “My Cause My Cleats” takes place this coming Sunday.

Mr. Clemens’s cause is pro-life and the non-profit he chose is National Right to Life. As Elwood explained

The Bolts [the Chargers’ nickname] will wear their cleats against the Cleveland Browns. Select cleats will then be auctioned online through NFL Auctions where you can bid on your favorite player’s cleats. 100-percent of the proceeds will benefit the players’ charitable causes.

I would encourage readers of NRL News Today and all those who are empowered and educated by NRLC’s Facebook and Twitter outreaches to always remember that ours is the ultimate grassroots movement.

The Planned Parenthoods and NARALs and EMILY’s Lists of this world have so much money it sometimes seems as if they have a license to print $50s. If that weren’t enough, almost the entirety of the major media promote their anti-life cause as if killing unborn babies and “assisting” people to die is journalism’s highest calling.

National Right to Life depends on you. What we do, what we accomplish, the stellar reputation NRLC enjoys begins with the support of pro-life individuals and families and churches all over America.

#Giving Tuesday may have come and gone for 2017. But donating to a non-profit that is unsurpassed in advancing the cause of unborn babies and the medically vulnerable is a 365 day a year opportunity. As the late and great Congressman Henry Hyde famously said, “National Right to Life is the flagship of the pro-life movement.”

In the hustle and bustle of the approaching Christmas season, please do not forget the NRL Committee and the NRL Educational Foundation.

And thank you again for donating to NRLC on #GivingTuesday.
