On January 22 and during the weeks preceding and following that tragic date, the right to life movement will mark the 45th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

January 22, 1973, is a date seared in the memories of all pro-lifers. In response to this judicial monstrosity our Movement rolled up its sleeves and vowed to never give in until every child is protected in law and welcomed in life.

Forty-five years later we are more sure than ever that we will ultimately carry the day for unborn children. Why? For all the reasons you have read about at National Right to Life News Today.

We know we have the truth which is more powerful than all the free propaganda showered on the anti-life movement by the Media Establishment. We know we are gaining ground. Just listen to the howls from the likes of PPFA and NARAL. We know we moving closer to the day when innocent human life is protected from the abortion industry. Just look at all the pro-life legislation that has been passed.

Over 60,000,000 innocent unborn babies have lost their lives to abortion. I don’t believe that we can begin to grasp how many 60,000,000 really is.

I know I can’t. But I do know that this tragedy calls for a response from me, from you, and from pro-lifer across this great land.

There will be activities to commemorate Roe’s 45th anniversary of the legalization of abortion all across the nation. Let me encourage you to not only participate, but promote these events and bring family and friends to your local commemoration.

Coming together to mourn the lost lives reminds us of all those babies and their mothers. It is an essential gathering of the greatest Movement for social justice of our time.

If this is your first year to take part in a January 22-related memorial service and/or a prayer breakfast, that is wonderful! You are making a statement of faithfulness that cannot be ignored!

But the real question is, what are you going to do afterwards? What are your plans? How are you going to make a pro-life difference in the coming year?

We have a pro-life President in the Oval Office and its importance cannot be overstated. But make no mistake: 2018 will be a long, and in many ways, difficult year first and foremost because we are winning! We need every voice possible, including yours, to keep the number and influence of local chapters growing.

So after you attend the pro-life events of your choosing, contact your local chapter or state affiliate and get involved. If there is not a local chapter in your area, then we will work with you to help you get one started!

You can email us at or call 202.378.8843.

The important immediate thing to do is attend the March for Life, but immediately afterwards to begin to make a difference.

Be a voice for the unborn. Get involved and stay involved.

We at National Right the Life, the largest and most effective single-issue pro-life organization with nearly 50 years of experience, are here to help you and support you in all ways possible.

It is in working together as a team that we will continue to make THE difference.

Welcome aboard!
