Don’t let the mainstream media censor “Gosnell: the Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer”

The following appeared today at the official Twitter account for Nick Searcy, who directs and stars in “Gosnell: the Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer,” a powerful movie about thrice convicted murderer, abortionist Kermit Gosnell.

There are stories galore about how badly the film is being treated. As the accompanying graphic illustrates, recent films have received an enormous number of reviews, while the Gosnell movie has garnered only six. If people do not attend the film soon, it will no longer be showing—and the Abortion Industry and its legion of media apologists will have won. For a list of theatres where it is showing, go to gosnellmovie.com/theaters.

We wrote about the Marty review Mr. Searcy refers to. Please take four minutes to read it. Here are four summary paragraphs:

It is so wrong on so many different levels you’d need the equivalent of the 261-page-long Grand Jury report that was the impetus for the trial of Gosnell, a West Philadelphia abortionist who slaughtered huge babies with the efficiency of an industrial plant while treating their mothers like cattle, to do it justice. Let me make a few points.

If Gosnell is an “outlier,” as rare as hen’s teeth, why do abortion clinics fight with every ounce of their strength any unannounced inspection? If their clinic is clean, safe, and practically shining, why not let inspectors come in without giving them days’ notice to clean up the place? …

These defenses of late-term abortions roll out statements that are simply made up. For example, how dare the movie (or pro-lifers) compare Gosnell to abortionists “who legally performed third trimester abortions, usually for women victimized by sexual assault or who learned that their child had fatal fetal anomalies”?

This is pro-abortion cant, recycled talking points so old they are covered in dust. In most instances, women do not have these abortions for the reasons the abortion industry likes to highlight.

Be sure to see “Gosnell: the Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer.” Again, you can find where it is showing at gosnellmovie.com/theaters.
