More Than 900 Michigan Prolifers Traveling to March for Life

Jan 15, 2019

January 15, 2019, Grand Rapids, Mich. -– Right to Life of Michigan affiliates across the state will take 18 buses to the national March for Life in Washington, D.C., on January 18, one of the largest annual events in America.

Many other groups, churches, and individuals from Michigan will also be traveling to join hundreds of thousands to protest the U.S. Supreme Court’s 1973 decisions in Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton.

The March for Life’s keynote speaker this year is Ben Shapiro, conservative commentator and Orthodox Jew. Shapiro will address the March for Life’s 2019 theme, “Unique from Day One.”

Many additional prolife events across the country are planned for this week and next week. Large marches will take place in San Francisco and Chicago. Many Right to Life of Michigan affiliates will be hosting local marches, rallies, and memorial services for the lives lost to abortion. Many churches will also observe Sanctity of Human Life Sunday on January 20.
