Legislative Alert! Help Us Prevent Telemedicine Abortions in Pennsylvania

by | Dec 17, 2019

Please call and email your state Senator with this important message: I don’t want telemedicine abortions in Pennsylvania. Please pass Senate Bill 857, as amended.

Background: The Pennsylvania House of Representatives added an important amendment to Senate Bill 857 which would ensure that dangerous drugs such as the abortion pill RU 486 cannot be distributed with a doctor in a remote location, communicating with the patient solely via video screen. For the health and safety of Pennsylvania women, it is important that the Senate pass the telemedicine bill, Senate Bill 857, with the House amendment included.

Please note: This is a state issue, not a federal one, so you do not need to contact U.S. Senators Bob Casey and Pat Toomey.
