“As a pro-life obstetrician/gynecologist, Dr. Marshall knows the value of each human life and has an exemplary record showing his leadership on this issue,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life.

As a member of Congress, Dr. Marshall voted pro-life 20 out of 20 times. He co-sponsored and voted for the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. This legislation would protect unborn children at 20 weeks, a point by which the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain when being killed by dismemberment or other late abortion methods.

Dr. Marshall co-sponsored and voted for the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. This Act would require that a baby born alive during an abortion be afforded the same degree of care that would apply to any other child delivered at the same gestational age.

Dr. Marshall also voted numerous times against using tax dollars to pay for abortion, and he opposes taxpayer funding of abortion providers.

“As an OB/GYN, Dr. Marshall has delivered over five thousand babies and is a national leader for pro-life legislation as a Congressman from the First Congressional District of Kansas,” said Melissa Leach, on behalf of Kansans for Life PAC. “His candidacy gives pro-lifers the best chance of defeating abortion fanatic Barbara Bollier.”
