Extraordinary miracles, thanks to the hard work and dedication of pro-life grassroots activists in Pennsylvania

It was a crisp, sunny autumn afternoon in York County, Pennsylvania. The outdoor pavilion had been decorated with balloons, a banner, and assorted photos of babies. The assembled guests had come to celebrate life in all its glory.

Many of these individuals have devoted much of their lives to saving mothers and their children from the horrors of abortion. During the pandemic, pro-life leaders reported that 10 babies and their mothers had been spared the ravages of abortion through their efforts.

One stalwart pro-life advocate had parked a cheery mobile ultrasound unit nearby. In a former life, the vehicle had been a police command unit. Now, it welcomes mothers to see the precious lives growing inside them.

Hope filled the air, as attendees said heartfelt prayers, sang patriotic songs, and paid heed to a speaker who talked of the tremendous achievements of the pro-life movement in Pennsylvania. What extraordinary miracles had occurred, thanks to the hard work and dedication of pro-life grassroots activists throughout the Commonwealth.

The heart of the pro-life movement in Pennsylvania beats with love—for children, for mothers, for fathers, for grandparents, for aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters. Pro-life passion turns an ordinary day into an extraordinary one, where lives are saved, hope is renewed, and minds are forever changed.

Pro-life advocates in York County, PA look forward to the day when the tragic U.S. Supreme Court ruling Roe v. Wade is overturned, and the Commonwealth can pass a law protecting all preborn babies from the scourge of abortion. Until that time, they will continue to support women along their pregnancy journeys, helping them to recognize their own dignity and worth, and that of the preborn babies they carry beneath their hearts.
