Pro-lifers in Arkansas do very well on Tuesday

Arkansas Right to Life is very pleased with state results of Tuesday’s elections. Of the 40+ endorsements made by the Arkansas Right to Life Political Action Committee all but three won their seats. As of this writing, two of the endorsed candidates races—in House districts 32 and 38 in Pulaski County–are still too close to call.

Our biggest victories include supporting President Trump, re-electing U.S. Senator Tom Cotton, and helping Second District U.S. House Congressman French Hill retain his seat against Democrat State Senator Joyce Elliott who was endorsed by Planned Parenthood Great Plains and who had over $400,000 poured into the race to defeat Hill.

Rep. Hill won 55% to 44%.

Republicans in the Arkansas General Assembly added additional seats in both the state House and state Senate.

No constitutional officers, such as Governor or Attorney General, were up for re-election. Currently both positions are held by strong pro-lifers.
