We Fight On

What a roller coaster these last couple of weeks have been.  And the ride isn’t over yet!

Recounts and challenges to votes in the presidential race; pro-life Republicans winning several House seats so that Speaker Pelosi’s majority margin is very narrow; and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell waiting for the results in two senate runoff elections in Georgia.  The senate currently sits at 50 Republicans and 48 Democrats.  The last two senate seats will be filled following a runoff election in Georgia on January 5.

Democrats and the media have called the presidential election for Joe Biden, but I’m in the camp of “let it all play out.” There are issues and questions about dead people voting, ballots being filled out but not verified as coming from duly-registered voters, and much more.  If everything is shut down now, millions of voters will wonder who really won the election.  If the results of these inquiries don’t affect the outcome, it will hopefully make states look at current procedures and make necessary changes before the next election.

In the meantime, as we hope and pray for our country, we have two senate races to win in Georgia.  Senators David Purdue and Kelly Loeffler must be elected.  You can be assured NRLC will be very active in these races.

National Right to Life was heavily involved in presidential, senatorial, and congressional elections.  Polling found that almost 32% of all voters could recall hearing or seeing something from National Right to Life prior to the election.  That means we were able to reach approximately 48 million voters!

To all our super-fantastic grassroots supporters and volunteers, thank you!!  Along with federal races, there were state and local races.  Pro-lifers were active in all of them, to help pro-life candidates and to make sure the most vulnerable among us, the preborn children, were not forgotten amidst all the noise.

You truly are the heart and soul of America.  Your selfless love for the little ones, and your determination to protect them, is inspiring and contagious.

Thank you.
