President Trump is the most admired man in America, Gallup announces

When I read today that Gallup had announced that President Trump is the most admired man in America, “dethroning” (a popular word) former President Obama, second only to my admiration for the most pro-life President ever was a curiosity how Gallup (and a flock of media outlets) would attempt to pooh-pooh this accomplishment.

I won’t bother to list them, but in summary the threads stitch together “oh, of course” (presidents often are the most admired man) and excuses (Democrats split their votes, while almost half of Republicans chose President Trump), with “how did he do that?”

The truth, of course, has already been tossed down the memory hole. Had there not been a Coronavirus, President Trump would likely have won a second term by a comfortable margin. Pro-abortion Joe Biden was an awful candidate (as he had proven in prior presidential campaigns) propped up this time around by a Trump-hating media.

To think Biden could have defeated Trump under normal circumstances is absurd. Biden, by the way, came in third with just 6%.

Back to being the most admired man in America…

President Trump secured 18% of the vote to 15% for President Obama, ending Mr. Obama’s 12-year run as most admired man. Michelle Obama was the most admired woman for the third year in a row.

While there are many other reasons to admire President Trump, we are a single-issue organization, so we focus on all that he did for our Movement. It truly is staggering.

Not just the obvious—the three Supreme Court justices and the many, many appointments to the federal judiciary, a legacy that will last for a long, long time—but all that his administration did to guarantee and protect freedom of religion and freedom of conscience.

When we look back, we will also recall what the Trump administration did to thwart the international abortion industry and its myriad defenders. The administration made it a global health priority to protect women and children, born and unborn, by, among other things, building a coalition of countries representing over one billion inhabitants.

We ran a pro-life summary a little over a weeks ago. I encouraged you then, and I encourage you now to save that record.

Congratulations, President Trump, the most admired man in America. We will never forget what you did on behalf of the powerless.
