Here’s a peek at some of the Florida rallies!
St. Augustine March for Life Rally

FLORIDA RIGHT TO LIFE sponsored thirty-six students to participate in three-days (January 14-16) of teaching, worship, rally march, speakers, and fellowship. The theme ”Heal Our Wounded Culture, Choose Love Choose Life”with speakers Pam Stenzel, Sara DeJulio, APR, Andy Secola, Students for Life FL. The St. Augustine March for Life began in 2007. This annual rally includes a procession in historic downtown St Augustine, followed by guest speakers, live music, and a dinner. Thousands of people from all over Florida joined the march to support pro-life causes.
1/14/2021 – Kick-off for youth group travel via chartered bus from Cape Coral FL to St. Augustine KOA campsite, settle-in, and then attend Adoration and Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine located in the downtown historic square.
1/15/2022 – 16th Annual March for Life St. Augustine FL:
9 am – Mass with Bishop Felipe Estevez outside on the grounds of the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche followed by scheduled speakers (see above),
10:30 am – March begins through Historic St Augustine and ended in the Plaza de Constitucion, Christian band concert performed on stage before and after Keynote Speaker Pam Stensel who gave a rousing enthusiastic message to the students to be responsible and remain abstinent, and true to yourself by not giving in to peer pressure. And that it is “THIS” generation who may God willing see the end of abortion and the reversal of Roe v Wade to end abortion in our country.
12 Noon to 4:00 p.m. – Knights of Columbus spaghetti dinner at the Cathedral Basilica Parish Hall
1/16/2022 – Mass at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche. Bus meets youth to depart back to Cape Coral FL


The focus of the day was fellowship, worship, and march with pro-life advocates who traveled from around the state. Florida Right to Life was proud to sponsor this year’s Florida students from St. Katherine Drexel youth group in Cape Coral and chaperoned by youth director Aileen Vazquez, Josie Schwalm, plus all the great parents.
Broward County Right to Life

More than 60 pro-life citizens gathered outside the U.S. Federal Building in downtown Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, January 22, to call for an end to Roe v. Wade. The one-hour Roe MUST Go! rally reached beyond downtown Fort Lauderdale, thanks to news coverage provided by WPLG-10 (below) and WSVN-7.

Palm Beach County Right to Life

Sarasota-Manatee County Right to Life

We had a Bishop’s Walk for Life at the Planned Parenthood Clinic in Sarasota on Tues. 1/18. Several parishes participated along with a group of about 50 students from Donahue Academy, the feeder High School to Ave Maria University in Naples. They were not able to go to DC, so they went to St. Augustine and then came to us on their way home.
