The August issue of National Right to Life News, the “pro-life newspaper of record,” arrived in your inbox a week ago today. You have much to choose from in this 46-page edition and I hope you are taking advantage.

On page one you’ll find “Running from Abortion Issue Not a Winning Strategy for Pro-Life Candidates.” Political Director Karen Cross explains how pro-abortionists are using the defeat of the pro-life Amendment in Kansas to try to spook pro-life candidates into backing away from the issue. As Karen points out, “When pro-life candidates try to hide from the issue, they give their opposition the opportunity to write the narrative about the pro-life candidate’s position. Instead, pro-lifers can gain the upper hand by embracing the issue and speaking clearly to voters about the commonsense protections for unborn children and their mothers that they support.”

The editorial on page 2 explains in detail how “The perfect storm brings together a Trifecta of lies, omissions, and distortions to take down the pro-life Kansas amendment.”

NRLC President Carol Tobias explains why “Your Efforts are Needed Now More than Ever!” We won a titanic victory when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Let’s take full advantage!

We have a story about NRL Academy on page four and personal accounts written by two of the women who attended. It’ll make you feel very confident that the future of our Movement is in good hands.

We have a number of stories patiently rebutting the Abortion Industry’s crazier ideas. It’s good practice because they will continue to spew out nonsense about what the pro-life movement wants post-Roe. For example, on page 9, Laura Echevarria, NRL Director of Communications and Press Secretary, writes about how “Media promotes lies and disinformation about miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies.”

Karen Cross also wrote a fine “Pro-life recap of August 2 political primaries” that appears on page 13. All of this leading up to November 8 Mid-term elections.

There is a great deal more in this 46-page issue. We’ll fill you on Friday.

Meanwhile, take some time to read the August edition.
