Well, the headline is accurate, as far as it goes (which is not far). President Biden’s approval rating this week is the “highest since early June, Reuters/Ipsos finds.”
What’s it at? A lowly 41%.
Biden’s lowest ratings –36%–was in four weekly polls in May, June and July, Jason Lange tells us.
Same story but Yahoo News headline is closer to the truth: “Biden approval rating rises modestly from record low – Reuters/Ipsos poll.”
But the most accurate—and telling—headline was “57% of Americans disapprove of the president.”
Then there’s the NBC News poll where just 21 percent of voters feel the nation is headed in the right direction! Dig a little deeper you find that “Over half of respondents, or 58 percent, said they feel ‘more worried that America’s best years may already be behind us,’ while 35 percent feel more confident the best years are still ahead,” Julia Mueller reported. “Biden’s approval rating in this poll ticked up to 42 percent.”
Well, true, but misleading. “Biden’s disapproval rating has climbed one point, from 54 to 55 percent”
We’re going to read “comeback” stories galore. Just remember most of the media is a wing of the Democrat party and if you want the truth, swing by NRL News Today.
