From bad to worse: pro-abortion Vice President Harris’s popularity sinks to historic lows

It seemed to be only a matter of time before somebody would take a poll and find that pro-abortion Kamala Harris’ popularity had set a record low for vice president net favorability.

“The [NBC] poll, published on Monday, found that 49 percent of respondents have a negative opinion of Harris, while 32 percent of those surveyed have a positive opinion of the vice president,” Olafimihan Oshin reported for The Hill.

This net negative rating of -17 “is the lowest net negative rating for a vice president in the history of the poll,” Oshin wrote. However, the reality is that the numbers are even worse, far worse in fact.

Of the 49% who had a negative opinion of Harris, 39% had a “very negative” opinion. By contrast, only 11% had a “very positive” opinion about the vice president. This is an “intensity” gap of 28%!

Axios reports that the White House has “been working with Harris to repair her image and bump up her polling numbers ahead of the 2024 election.”

White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients “told the media outlet that he meets with Harris on a weekly basis to discuss ways to tout her policy ideas and leadership,” according to Oshin.

“Current chief of staff to Education Secretary Miguel Cardona Shelia Nix is set to join President Biden’s reelection campaign team as the chief of staff to Harris,” Oshin added. “The vice president is expected to be a key player in the 2024 campaign trail.”

With these numbers?!

The number of people holding a negative opinion of Harris “has been steadily growing since August 2020, when only 35 percent of respondents thought negatively of the vice president,” Giulia Carbonaro reported for Newsweek. “Her results, according to NBC polls, were only lower in August 2022, when 40 percent of respondents had a ‘very negative’ opinion of the vice president and 10 percent had a ‘somewhat negative’ opinion.”

Furthermore, “According to website FiveThirtyEight, which shows a national polling average, a majority of 51.6 percent of Americans disapproved of Harris as of June 21, while 40.7 percent approved of the vice president,” according to Carbonaro, a negative of -10.9.

“At a certain point, on November 8, 2021, she was one of the least popular vice presidents in modern American history, as her approval rate plunged to 28.9 percent, according to polling website FiveThirtyEight,” Carbonaro wrote.
