I will never forget the antiseptic coldness of the abortion facility, where despair and darkness were rampant

Vice President Kamala Harris and abortion giant Planned Parenthood are touting her visit to a Minnesota abortion facility. It is believed to be the first time a sitting Vice President has toured a center that performs abortions.

I remember a time long ago when I toured an abortion outfit. I was a general assignment radio reporter. I recall stepping into the room where the abortions were performed and getting a sick feeling. I wanted to leave as soon as possible.

There were no clients there—it was just an empty room. But I could sense the death and destruction that had become routine in that lonely place.

I saw where one social media user posted on X that the Vice President should have visited the POC room. POC is abortion double-speak for products of conception, also known as baby body parts. The arms and legs must be examined to make sure that the abortionist “got it all” in removing the baby from the mother’s uterus.

I doubt if many people spend much time contemplating what exactly happens during an abortion—that a baby is sucked out, or torn limb by limb from a woman’s womb. It is a horror that is hard to contemplate.

But it is the stone-cold reality of abortion.

I hope and pray that the Vice President may eventually see the light—to recognize what abortion does to a unique, irreplaceable baby and the mother who is left behind to grieve the loss of a child.

Many abortion workers have turned away from the grisly business and are now staunch advocates for life. We thank them for their witness and courage as they speak out against the industry where they were once employed.

I will never forget the antiseptic coldness of the abortion facility, where despair and darkness were rampant. It is an image that haunts me to this day.
