Pro-abortion Arizona AG launches attack on Women Helping Centers

Pro-abortionist seethed in 2018 when, on his last day on the Supreme Court, Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote a concurring opinion in which he described a 2015 California law known ironically as the “California Reproductive FACT Act” as a “paradigmatic example of the serious threat presented when government seeks to impose its own message in the place of individual speech, thought, and expression.”

Pro-aborts lost that attack on Women Helping Centers but it didn’t stop them from stepped up their heartless attacks. And why would they?

After all, they’re not in business of fairness and mercy or helping women navigate a crisis pregnancy. Instead, they will do anything to stamp out their competition—Women Helping Centers, also known as Crisis Pregnancy Centers.

Give them this: pro-abortionists are relentless in their pursuit.

Take pro-abortion Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, who sent out a consumer alert on Wednesday.

“Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes is cautioning consumers to be aware of so-called ‘crisis pregnancy centers’ which, she says, use misleading tactics to discourage abortion,” Katherine Davis-Young reports.

Why? Are they rivals in raising money? Are they competitors for favorable media coverage? Of course not. They have limitless resources and a servile media to parrot their talking points.

The key is found in the second paragraph of Davis-Young’s story, which in one sentence exposes the existential threat that Women Helping Center pose to the Abortion Industry:

There are more crisis pregnancy centers than there are licensed abortion clinics in Arizona.

My guess is that there are many, many more. But pro-abortionists are equally unnerved by the American people’s support.

The Knights of Columbus published the annual Marist Poll results on January 17. A whopping 83% of Americans “strongly support” pregnancy resources centers, which the survey described as “places that do not perform abortions but instead offer support to people during their pregnancy and after the baby is born.” Only 16% replied that they “strongly oppose” these pro-life organizations.

God bless Women Helping Centers for their invaluable help to women.
