Forty Weeks of Life: Week 32

Week 32: At this time, air pockets begin to form in the baby’s lungs, forming from alveolar ducts. The baby’s skin is now soft and smooth as it continues to take on fat, gaining around half a pound per week. The skin is a lot less transparent and more opaque as the fat continues to develop. Babies are now capable of dreaming!
