Dear Champion of Life,
Sitting in church recently, I heard the sweet sounds of a little angel—it was the sounds of a baby cooing.
I turned around to see the most beautiful baby and his two parents, delighted by the sounds coming from their little songbird. Moreover, even the people around this family were moved to a posture of joy because of their proximity to the baby.
The gift of Life brings joy. The gift of Life brings hope to a dark world.
The gifts Life brings are a call to action to press into the fullness of Life. When darkness gets darker, the intensity only increases due to its desire to overcompensate for the strength of the light. We cannot lose sight of this hope and allow ourselves to become hopeless or apathetic.
There are only two sides to the Life issue: a culture of Life and a culture of death.
Since 1968, National Right to Life has protected the right to Life and, since 1989, assisted our 50 state affiliates and the District of Columbia in passing protective legislation and defeating anti-life legislation. Life-affirming laws protect babies, women, the most vulnerable members of our human family and strengthen families for generations to come.
As we work to affect change, will you take a hope-filled stand of faith to support the culture of Life? Your generous gift of $100, $250, or even $500 will make an impact. We will steward any amount you’re led to give to rebuild the culture of Life.
There’s an anonymous quote too good not to recapitulate: “If you are asking God to move a mountain, don’t be surprised if He gives you a shovel.”
And, boy, do we need some people with shovels in hand at this hour, no matter how deep you can dig.
Together, we dig deeper to rebuild a culture of Life. Will you join us?
