Some events just tug at your heart and won’t let go.
That’s how I feel about the National Right to Life Conference.
Pennsylvania had the privilege of hosting the conference last year, and it brought a deluge of blessings to our Commonwealth.
This year, two of my co-workers and I will be driving to Crystal City, Virginia, for this powerhouse of a pro-life event, which will take place June 28 and 29 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott.
My excitement soars when I think about the terrific lineup of speakers, capped off by a keynote by former White House spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany. It is not often that one can get a peek inside the People’s House, provided by a woman who was a witness to history.
I am also pleased to be presenting a workshop on grassroots lobbying with NRL’s gifted expert on state legislation, Ingrid Duran. During these challenging times, knowing the basics of how to influence government officials with regard to pro-life issues is absolutely mandatory.
But I believe that what I am most thrilled about is seeing so many pro-life advocates, gathered from throughout the country. It is like a giant family reunion, filled with opportunities for memory-making.
