The Pro-Life Movement Must Move Forward,” says Carol Tobias, President

by | Jun 25, 2024

Hear from Carol Tobias, President, and Jennifer Popik, Federal Legislative Director, on the 2nd Anniversary of the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade

“It’s been two years since the U.S. Supreme Court reversed the wretched Roe v. Wade decision. As expected, many states have enacted laws to protect pre-born children while others enacted laws to protect abortion and abortionists.

“States that protect the children have stepped forward with highly creative and effective programs to augment the already amazing work done by pregnancy help centers, implementing ways to help mothers and their children. Unfortunately, the abortion industry and its allies in the media and the Democratic Party oppose these helpful programs and offer only one solution for an unexpected pregnancy—death for the unborn child.

“Women and children want and deserve better.

“The pro-life movement must move forward, with optimism and persistence. We will continue to expose the dark heart of abortion and proclaim the beauty of every single human life, born and unborn.” Carol Tobias, President

“Since the Dobbs decision, it has been a whirlwind in Congress. While the states are on the front lines protecting unborn children, there is still critical work for Congress to do.

“My hope is that members of Congress remain strong in their pro-life convictions in the face of so many voices telling them to run and hide on the life issue. Pro-Lifers in this divided Congress are doing great work with dozens of bills focusing on programs that help pregnant mothers, while the Democrats push for nationwide abortion until birth.

“Congress also needs to ensure that tax dollars aren’t spent on abortion – one of the most underappreciated federal roles that Congress has held the line on for nearly 50 years.” Jennifer Popik, Federal Legislative Director.
