We delayed publishing the current issue of NRL News later than usual because of the Independence Day holiday and to make sure we have the latest in the on-going saga of pro-abortion President Joe Biden as well as provide complete—and I do mean complete—coverage of NRLC’s 53rd Annual Conference.
The two-day conference was an educational smorgasbord with something for everyone. The Six General Sessions, Prayer Breakfast, and closing Gala supplemented the information attendees gathered from the 20 Breakout session.
The highlight for many was Kayleigh McEnany’s inspiring speech that closed the conference. “Dobbs was only made possible because of you in this room,” McEnany told her audience. The Press Secretary for pro-life President Donald Trump went on to add, “Every time you went to a March for Life, every time you came to a convention, every time you voted on the pro-life issue, every time you kept fighting for life, you made that day possible.”
Other General Sessions touched on many important themes.
On Friday there were three General Sessions. “Resilient Voices: Women for Life”; “On the Frontlines: How Pregnancy Resource Centers Offer Help and Hope to Women”; and “Turning Setbacks into Success: Lessons Learned from State Initiative Losses.”
Friday was every bit as challenging. The morning opened with a very important topic: “Meeting the Needs of Women Suffering Pre-natal Medical Emergencies.”
The rise of assisted suicide and how best to combat it was the subject of Friday afternoon’s session: “Assisted Suicide: It’s worse than you ever imagined.”
Tomorrow we’ll discuss the 20 Breakout Session. In the meanwhile, please begin reading the July Issue of National Right to Life News.
