2 Years Later: Truth is Emerging in Kansas

Aug 2, 2024

(Overland Park, Kansas – August 2nd, 2024) — “Two years ago today, too many Kansans were deeply misled by the abortion industry and its political allies’ claims that abortion would be ‘heavily regulated’ if voters rejected the 2022 amendment,” said Danielle Underwood, Kansans for Life (KFL) Director of Communications. “Now the truth is unfolding, as we predicted, as abortion clinics are being allowed to operate without safety and sanitation standards or even medical oversight while the number of women traveling to Kansas for abortions skyrockets.”

Underwood continued, “In August of 2022, we promised we would continue to expose the lies of the profit-driven abortion industry and that we will never abandon women and babies. We’ve turned a sad anniversary into a day dedicated to service that will aid women facing unexpected pregnancies.”

KFL is partnering with 23 pregnancy resource centers across the state for the Annual August 2nd Day of Service. Photos will be made available on our social media channels throughout the day.
