Walz joined Harris for her March visit to a St Paul abortion clinic.

Remember back in March when we wrote about Kamala Harris becoming the first vice president or President to visit an abortion clinic? We were told it was “historic.”

You don’t have to be a pro-lifer to find Harris’s trip to a place that kills unborn babies for a living repulsive. The headline for USA Today columnist Ingrid Jacques was  “Kamala Harris’ abortion clinic visit won’t make people like her more. Plus, it’s cringe.”

“I’m here at this health care clinic to uplift the work that is happening in Minnesota as an example of what true leadership looks like,” Harris said at the time.

Harris’s trip takes pandering to a new level. Jacques writes

While her visit is being hailed as “historic” and “dramatic and symbolic,” it’s worth considering why she’s doing this. It’s a blatant attempt to pander to voting blocs that she and President Joe Biden must win over if they have a shot at a second term – and that includes Black voters and younger Americans

What I missed at the time was the presence of pro-abortion Gov. Tim Walz. My bad. Now Walz has been chosen to be Harris’s vice presidential running mate.

Should have seen that coming.
