Art has a way of touching the heart like very little else can.
I was reminded of this through my many podcast interviews with literary artists who use their talents with words to help to rebuild a culture of life in our society.
These gifted authors have made it their mission to weave pro-life themes into their books. A number of them write specifically for teenagers, who may be greatly misinformed about right-to-life issues.
These dedicated writers are eager to share their craft and their reverence for life with others. Their words can be breathtakingly beautiful and can help spark a flame of compassion in their readers.
The old saying, “The pen is mightier than the sword,” still holds true today.
In a world that has grown increasingly cold and violent, words can help save the day—and save lives along the way.
If you have a budding author in your midst, celebrate his or her talent and encourage the young writer in all artistic endeavors.
That young author may just write the book that helps to create a new culture of caring in our country.
