Yesterday pro-life Missourians turned out for truth to protect innocent lives. Unfortunately, the millions of dollars in outside money from George Soros, Planned Parenthood, and the abortion industry were able to deceive Missourians about Amendment 3 and we will now have unlimited abortion in our Missouri Constitution.
And though the results are not what we had hoped for, this is not the end of our mission – it is just the beginning.
Many groups worked tirelessly, hand-in-hand with Churches, Denominations, and the Republican party to inform the voters of what was contained in Amendment 3 based on the analysis of legal scholars.
So, while we lost this battle, pro-life Missourians will continue to fight to protect the most vulnerable amongst us. Our commitment remains strong and our efforts to be a voice for the voiceless will never waiver.
In the midst of our disappointment on Amendment 3, we are celebrating many victories with the election of pro-life candidates to federal and state public office. The voters of Missouri and the United States have re-elected President Donald Trump. Missourians elected Senator Josh Hawley and all of our pro-life Congressional delegation including Bob Onder. We also have elected pro-life leaders for all our statewide office holders and have returned a pro-life majority to our Missouri House and Senate.
As we move forward in Missouri, it is our goal to help women in difficult situations so that we can make abortion and other life-changing decisions unthinkable and families can grow and thrive in the State of Missouri.
