Dr. Jean Garton, a beloved voice in the pro-life movement, once beautifully described the National Right to Life Conference as “the yearly gathering of America’s pro-life family—and it’s like coming home again.” Those words still ring true as we prepare for the 54th annual National Right to Life Conference, taking place this June 20–21 in Overland Park, Kansas.
This gathering is more than a conference. It’s a reunion, a recommissioning, and a reminder of why we fight for the voiceless and vulnerable.
Over the years, we’ve welcomed heroes and history-makers to the stage—from American Vice Presidents and Senators and Governors to Pro-Life Icons like Congressmen Chris Smith and Henry Hyde to Seth Dillon and to Ben Shapiro, Kayleigh McEnany and the late Mildred Jefferson, the first Black woman to graduate from Harvard Medical School, who was a towering voice for unborn children and the former President of National Right to Life.
But perhaps more powerful than the speakers are the people sitting beside you in the sessions and hallways—mothers and fathers, pastors and students, state legislators and sidewalk counselors. Generations of pro-life advocates gather year after year—some who have marched since the earliest days after Roe, others not even born when Dobbs restored power to the people. And in that space, we teach each other, learn from one another, and grow stronger together.
This year’s conference features six impactful general sessions and 12 targeted breakout sessions covering every corner of the pro-life mission—law, medicine, media, pastoral care, grassroots organizing, and post-abortion healing. Whether you’re a seasoned advocate or new to the cause, there’s a seat for you here.
We’ll share meals and memories at the Champions for Life Luncheon and celebrate the courage of modern-day heroes at the Proudly Pro-Life Gala. But most of all, we’ll come away reenergized, grounded in truth, driven by love, and reminded that we are not alone in this fight.
So, if you’ve attended before, come home again. And if this is your first time, welcome to the family. Visit nrlconvention.com to register and be part of something enduring. Because defending life isn’t just a cause—it’s a calling, and no one should answer it alone.
