Senator Cramer is correct. For 50 years, National Right to Life has stood at the heart of the Hyde Amendment, helping win it and defend it every step of the way. If Congress tries to weaken or dismantle Hyde, we will do what we have always done: stand firm, stay inflexible on protecting taxpayers from funding abortion, and speak for the 2.6 million children whose lives Hyde has saved. We were there at the beginning, and we will never back down.
